See? I've been so busy these last few weeks working on the secret project (among other things) that I completely forgot to update here. Anyway, watch this:
Yes, Luke, Shoebox, Chris, and I have been working in secret for several years on sketches. Well, Luke, Shoebox, and I anyway. Chris is a more recent addition to the group. But we're seriously glad to have him on board because he's been doing most of the editing work.
The recording went incredibly smooth and we are now putting the finishing touches on the album to get it ready for production. The debut album Procrastinators Of The Apocalypse is now available for pre-order over at CirqueDuSoWhat.net. BaconNipples.com works too. If you pre-order the album you will receive a second CD absolutely free which contains some additional skits, out takes, and music.
We are really excited about this project. The sketches came out better than we had anticipated and we now find ourselves faced with the problem that we have more good material than will fit on the CD. We are currently agonizing over the track list. Some of the sketches will simply have to wait until our second album.
If all goes according to plan the CD will be available for sale at MarsCon the first weekend in March. If not it's likely some blood will be shed. Hopefully it won't come to that.
